Dione Catterson

Trainee Accountant

After graduating with a Bachelor of Business (Hons) in Accounting, Kinore provided me with the ideal opportunity to further my career as a fully qualified accountant. I am currently studying with ACCA. Kinore not only supports me financially during my studies but also offers the ability to work from home - a blended working environment gives me extra time to study. Kinore is also an ACCA Approved Employer, meaning I can claim a performance objective exemption.

VAT & Bookkeeping Team

I started working for Kinore on the Client Services Team and I recently moved to the VAT and Bookkeeping Team. I have just started an apprenticeship with Accounting Technicians Ireland and I am looking forward to learning more through studies and putting theory into practice. I am grateful for the opportunities and experience I have gained from working for Kinore and I have found everyone to be friendly, supportive, approachable, and very helpful.

I started work for Kinore in March 2021. I have completed the IPASS Certificate in Payroll techniques. I have had the opportunity recently to work in the VAT Department which was a fantastic opportunity and gave me a great insight into the VAT process and the responsibilities. The opportunity to work in different departments of Kinore has been highly beneficial for me, especially in my understanding of the roles and responsibilities of other teams. The ability to move between teams has significantly improved my confidence in my role and allowed me to get to know more of my colleagues. Each time, the transition process was smooth, and I have been able to adapt to my new role very quickly, with the guidance and support from my manager.

I joined in 2021 as an Assistant Accounting Manager. The ability to work remotely full time and having access to a four day working week were the main reasons behind my decision to join Kinore. I was promoted to Accounting Team Manager in 2022, and I really enjoy my new role and having the chance to develop and grow my own team. I am steadily building my client list while at the same time providing quality service to my existing clients in line with our company values.

I started my training program in January 2022, which is part of my pathway to get my ACA qualification . It is my first time working 100% remotely and I can say that it has been a great experience so far. Even though there is nobody beside you day-to-day as in a regular office, everybody at the company is always willing to help. I cannot be more grateful for the opportunity of working at Kinore and I am looking forward to gaining more experience through my training plan.

Assistant Accounting Manager

I joined in 2019 and from the start I was impressed by the forward-thinking of the company. During my time here, we have implemented new systems and processes to make us more efficient and to provide better service to our clients. There are also opportunities for progression. I am happy to say I started as a lead accountant and I was recently promoted to an assistant manager role. What I love most about Kinore is the company culture. Everyone is very friendly and supportive.
